Just under 1 goal in 5 games. Considering most games these days he comes on for 15-20 minutes at the end of the game that's not too shabby for someone so far down the pecking order. The actual problem is that those ahead of him are injured.

Oh alright, you outraged sensisitve little dear. I only hate him PLAYING for us, not as a PERSON. That better? Now dry your eyes.

Let's face it, he should be fourth choice. And he is. But unfortunately, our three other strikers all seem to get injured frequently, hence why he plays a lot more than he should. Can't blame him for not being good enough, truly bizarre that some people will actually say they hate someone for having the audacity to get picked by someone else to play football.

The real reason he won't leave London is all the women he has on the go allegedly! He apparently loves his little harem does Carlton, so I'm led to believe...
That's why the WBA offer must have been good, or had a clause saying he could live in London, and he was fucking annoyed when it fell through.

Playing devil's advocate here but only when there was recognition that he was unlikely to get a club in London and was definitely leaving at end of season did he take up with West Brom. He has been on some pretty cushy contracts with us, even with his pay cut i doubt he would have got that elsewhere.. certsinly not in London, his home. Lets thank him for his goals and effort with us but stop slagging the guy off, he's got more goals than many for us

The idiots in the BML that sing the stupid Carlton Cole song every time he takes an air shot or trips over his own cock are as moronic as the manager in my opinion. The blokes an utter liability and gets worse with every game.
Lovely bloke, but then Ted Fenton is a lovely bloke as well and I wouldn't want him to play 20 games a season for us.

David Cross gave his all but I don't think he should still be playing either. Though I suspect he'd probably still win more in the air.
CARLTON isn't the real problem. It's more that the manager has bought or loaned about 20 strikers and still has only one , Sahko, who looks truly good enough. I will leave the argument about whether he even wanted him to the manager and the owner.

Re: Carlton Cole

you may have a point. but I consider him as a valuable member of our club, why ? because in an era of spoilt primadonnas and fans alike, he has stuck thick by this club. and just wants to give his very best for West Ham Utd. Granted he may not be blessed with the talents that we all desire but he has the heart of a lion. He gives 100% every time and is very proud to wear our shirt. And here's the point. Despite you're delusional ambitions some of us have been around for a very long time. That in itself makes your post seem like you are young and slightly ill informed I, however have been around this club for a very long time indeed and appreciate very much a player who has done us a good service,

Under-Chuffed...
Why can't BFS see he is a liability on the pitch......
But maybe he can...all part of his plan...
Was there really no other striker available in the World of Football when he re-signed ...???

I'm so fucking tired of seeing photos of him in match reports looking dejected after we've thrown-away a game or lost in depressing circumstances...
Every time we lose; the press always seem to have an image of him in it... Even when he's not even fucking playing they'll take a photo of him looking dejected warming-up as a sub...
Nine years of CARTHORSE... Unbelievable, really... Shows you how two bob we are...

Even knowing the injury situation we have now i would still have let him go to the baggies on deadline day.

He would look out of his depth these days in League 2, or even the Conference, he's that bad. Except that sophisticated manager of ours believes he's still a Premier League player. Unreal.
I was praying he was going to get sent off when he only got booked.
